I recently had to shout out my accomplishments at a networking event and realized that this last year was my first full year of just 100% solo in my business. I feel like I need to celebrate my accomplishments more because I get down on myself more than I should. My goal last year was to just double what I brought in the previous 6-7 months part-time, and without accounting for costs and just looking at the sales numbers, I did more than that! We will see if that holds true once the costs and taxes are factored in. I have done so much to be proud of this year. When I think of all the things I have done, I also tend to think about my goals.
I don't do typical resolutions, but try to set realistic goals for myself. This year, my goal is to be more organized and structure myself a bit more. I hired a bookkeeper to help me track the cashflow of my business so I can have a more clear idea of how things are going and set goals based on the numbers.
I plan to schedule times within my schedule for tackling tasks that I need to get done on my work time so I don't feel like I am constantly just working. I purchased a planner with pages for writing daily tasks that I hope will help keep me organized. I have a few other things I am thinking about seeking education on to further my business.
Personally, I want to be more consistent about eating healthy and working out. I also intend to find an art class to take or start doing some art projects at home for my own pleasure. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with this year and how many of my goals I will meet. Do you have any goals for the next year?
